Third party funds rise IDR14.24 trillion

JAKARTA: Bank Indonesia (BI) recorded a rise in bankings third party funds for about IDR14.24 trillion in the past week amid to the rising of rupiah-dominated DPK amounted to IDR18,98 trillion although foreign currency-dominated DPK decrease to IDR4.74 trillion.Head of BI Public Relation Bureau Difi A. Johansyah stated that in 2010, DPK has been advancing up to 11.63% or IDR229.15 trillion and lifted 16.8% on YoY or IDR316.30 trillion.DPK as the main source of banking funds showed a significantly hiking trend in the end of this year, as he said on an email to Bisnis, today.He also informed the highest rupiah-dominated DPK came from private banks in the amount of IDR9.39 trillion. Meanwhile, the reduction of DPK took place on foreign banks branches (KCBA) which reached IDR5.52 trillion.Foreign currency-dominated DPK, he continued, also rose particularly on Limited Liability banks (Persero) as much as IDR400 billion while the biggest slumped was occurred on KCBA which booked IDR3.88 trillion.
