JAKARTA: PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk took over the core business of its subsidiary, PT Central Sole Agency (CSA).CSA which is engaged in general trading of parts and automotive accessories export-import, according to President Director of Indomobil Sukses Gunadi Sinduwinata, will then focus on the distribution of spare parts, accessories and other automotive products. President Director of Indomobil Sukses Internasional said the business activities of CSA . "It will be just a shift of focus and the CSA will focus on the distribution, while import and export of spare parts and others will be carried out by the holding [Indomobil]," he told reporters, last weekend. He claimed the decision as an effort to enhance the business activities of the company amid the tight competition in automotive industry. Assuming the growth in automotive industry to be 10% in 2011, he then projected the increase in car production will reach 800,000 units, while the production of two-wheeled vehicles is approching 8 million units. If the national economy growth rises more than 6% next year, Gunadi is optimistic the growth of automotive market to be accelerated, and thus the production will exceed the prediction. This year, Indomobil Sukses Internasional (IMAS-coded stock) is optimistic to achieve a sales record of IDR10 trillion.Until third quarter of 2010, the company, which is 69.8% of its shares owned by PT Cipta Sarana Duta, has posted IDR7.49 trillion sales income, up more than 55% compared to IDR4.82 trillion in same period last year.
