Pefindo upgrades BCA Finance bonds to idAA

JAKARTA: Famed local rating agency PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo) upgraded the ratings of PT BCA Finances bonds of second quarter 2007 and third quarter 2010 to idAA from idAA-.Pefindo also upgraded the Subordinated Bond of first quarter 2010 from idA+ to idAA-.Pefindo Analyst Hendro Utomo and Hotma Parulian Manalu said in its press release that the prospect of these ratings is stable."The ratings upgrade reflect the companys business position that continues to improve," said both of them.The ratings also reflect the strong support of the controlling shareholder, a solid business position, and excellent asset quality.However, the ratings were limited by intense competition in automobile financing business segment.
