Bank Resona medium term notes rated idAA-

JAKARTA: PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo), an Indonesian rating agency, reiterated idAA- rating on PT Bank Resona Perdanias medium term notes (MTN) series I/2007 and II/2008, valuing IDR135 billion and IDR100 billion respectively.Pefindo also gave idAA- rating on the to-be-released MTN III/2010, which values IDR300 billion. The prospect of those ratings is stable.Danan Dito and Dimas Aditya, analysts at Pefindo, said in a press release today that the rating reflected shareholders solid support, good capital and liquidity, and the companys flexible financial performance.However, the ratings are limited to low growth potential and below average diversification, the analysts said.Bank Resona Perdania is the first join venture between Indonesia and Japan that was formed on February 1, 1958, marking business relationship between two countries.Through July 2010, the bank has managed assets worth as much as IDR7.09 trillion, and has received IDR855 billion in loan and IDR234 billion in bonds.Since 2008, Bank Resona is seeking to be a public listed company, but has not been realized. The bank only serves the costumers from Japan. (t04/wiw)
