Indonesian stocks drop by 0.36%, led by BCA

JAKARTA: Indonesian stocks slipped 12.76 points and ended today's trade at 3,568.81. Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) dropped 0.63% from last week's closing after moving between 3,537.67 3,591.29.Yet, among 420 shares in the index, for every three share fell, one rose.PT Bank Central Asia led the decline with -7.26 points, followed by PT Bank CIMB with -4.51 points, PT Bank Mandiri with -3.71 points and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia with -3.63 points.Shares that restrained further downfall were PT Adaro Energy with 8.56 points, followed by PT Astra International with 4.33 points, PT Unilever Indonesia with 2.72 points and PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa with 1.31 points.From all nine sectoral indeces managed by Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), five sectors gave negative contributions, led by finance with minus 177.19%, construction, property and real estate with minus 37.03%, and infrastructure, utility and transportation with minus 27.11%.In line with IDX, BISNIS-27 also weakened 0.37 points or 0.12% to 312.94.
