JAKARTA: PT Hutama Karya (HK) targets to book IDR4.8 trillion from construction service in 2011.The sales target takes into account the high growth potential in construction industry as government gives higher allocation for infrastructure development in Indonesia.President Director of Hutama Karya S. Subagyono confirmed that the sales target is remaining value of projects signed in 2010 and to be completed by next year, while it targets new contracts to reach IDR6 trillion.In addition, as he added, the higher sales realization of construction service hopefully can boost the earnings to IDR154 billion by next year, a 29.2% increase from projected IDR109 billion net income this year.Thus, the target of construction projects is around IDR9 trillion-IDR10 trillion, with greater potential for the construction business responding higher government budgets for construction and infrastructure development, he said today.He also continued that the sales target jumped 50% from IDR3.2 trillion realized so far this year. The company also plans to strengthen its capital through an initial public offering (IPO) in 2011. (T01/NOM)
