IDX asks for Dian Swastatika's stock transaction data

JAKARTA: Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has urged several securities companies that trade shares of PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk to submit transaction data at both regular and cash markets to the market authority.IDX Director of Supervision Urip Budi Prasetyo confirmed that the market authority will call immediately the management of Dian Swastatika Sentosa to explain the latest condition and information related to the company.Furthermore, IDX will ask for data on corporate action plans in the near future that might lead the company's stock price jumping by 139.07%.Consequently, the authority decided to suspend temporarily the trading of DSSA-coded shares commencing on December 21, 2010.According to him, IDX identified irregularity in the share transaction on November 29 when it was closed at IDR7,550, jumping by IDR10,500 to IDR18,050 on December 20.Dian Swastatika Sentosa is a subsidiary of Sinarmas Group specializing in the energy, mining and infrastructure.During the first nine months of 2010, the company booked a net revenue of US$156.68 million, down 1.39% compared to the same period last year at US$ 158.87 million.The company recorded a net income of US$4.86 million during the first nine months of this year from US$5.49 million at the same period last year.Dian Swastatika Sentosa's shares were officially offered to public on December 10, 2009 at an initial price of IDR1,500.(T01/NOM)
