Bayan Resources leads JCI to rose 0.10%

JAKARTA: Indonesian shares were closed to go up 0.10% in the midday break session this afternoon at Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX).

Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rose 3.47 points to 3.615,01. The index moved within the range of 3,601.48 3,620.29. Out of 420 shares sustaining the index, 69 rose, 110 slipped and 241 were stagnant.Bayan Resources led the gain with 8.32 points of contribution, followed by Bank Mandiri with 4.94 points, Astra International with 2.89 points and Charoen Pokphand with 2.15 with points.Some stocks retained the index from further gain were Unilever Indonesia which slipped 3.63 points. Bank Danamon tailed with -1.98 points while Matahari Putra Prima and Bank International Indonesia contributed 1.52 points and 1.45 points respectively.Six out of nine sectors listed in IDX recorded positive movement led by mining sector as much as 198.11%, followed by miscellaneous industry with 74,35%, financial sector with 41,84%, infrastructure, utility and transportation with 14,74%, agriculture industry with 13.21%, and basic industry and chemical with 8.12%.BISNIS-27 index was closed 315.70 compared to last week closing session. BISNIS-27 moved between 314.45 and 316.74. (t03/wiw)
