JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite index (JCI) rose 40.94 points to end todays first season. JCI lifted 1.13% to 3,666.20 from yesterdays closing and it moved within the range of 3,623.83 3,672.18.
Among 420 shares in the index, 138 shares lifted, 45 slipped the remaining 237 stagnant.United Tractors led the surged with 4.15 points, followed by Bank Rakyat Indonesia with 3.63 points, Bayan Resources 3.37 points, and Bank Central Asia with 2.90 points.Shares that weight down further gain were Telekomunikasi Indonesia with-1.20 points, followed by Indo Tambangraya with 0.94 point, Plaza Indonesia with 0.76 point and Matahari Putra Prima with 0.53 point.Eight out of nine sectoral indexes in the IDX gave positive contribution which drove by finance with 30.62%, followed by mining with 22.49%, consumer goods with 15.89% and service and trade with 12.35%.BISNIS-27 also hiked 3.30 points to 320.99.
