JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rose 0.35% to 3,637.86 from 3,625.27 on yesterdays closing and it moved within the range of 3,623.833,632.13.
Among 420 shares in the index, for every 8 shares rose, 6 fell and the remaining 406 remain unchanged.Astra International led the surged with 0.96 point followed by Perusahaan Gas Negara with 0.72 point, Astra Agro Lestari 0.47 point and Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa with 0.44 point.Shares that burden further gain were Unilever Indonesia with 1.36 points, followed by Telekomunikasi Indonesia with 1.20 points, Kalbe Farma with 0.91 point and Indosat with 0.32 point.Seven out of nine sectoral indexes in the IDX gave positive contribution which drove by basic industry and chemical with 30.87%, miscellaneous industry with 25.45% service and trade with 24.63% and agriculture with 16.31%.In line with IDX, BISNIS-27 also hiked 0.07 point to 317.77.
