JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rose 14.33 points at the end of the first season. JCI lifted 0.39% to 3,713.54 from 3,698.93. The index moved within the range of 3,698.93 3,717.19.
Among 421 shares in the index, 96 shares rose, 76 fell and the remaining 249 stagnant.Bank Central Asia led the growth with 2.9 points, followed by Bayan Resources with 1.98 points, Unilever Indonesia with 1.81 points and Indosat with 1.61 points.Shares that burden further surged were Bank Mandiri with -1.23 points, followed by Telekomunikasi Indonesia with -1.19 points, Bank CIMB Niaga with -1.18 points and Bank Mayapada with -0.8 points.All nine sectoral indexes gave positive contribution to the IDX. Mining drove the appreciation with 29.52%, followed by infrastructure, utility and transportation with 24.91% and consumer goods with 13.10%.In line with the stronger IDX, BISNIS-27 also hiked 0.98 point to 3,244.57 from 3,231.31.
