SCTV acquires Bangka TV

JAKARTA: PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA), a Indonesia-based media company, via its subsidiary Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV), acquired PT Bangka Tele Vision by taking over 85% shares ownership of old shareholders, PT Kuda Persada Sakti and PT Indonesia Network Information.Mentioned in a disclosure submitted to Indonesia Stock exchange on December 30 2010, Corporate Secretary of Surya Citra Hardijanto Saroso affirmed that the company had controlled 425 shares of Bangka Tele Vision.Total shares acquisition value stands at IDR425 million or IDR1 million a share with a nominal price, he informed.Meanwhile, the SCMA-coded company is a parent company of SCTV, a nationally private broadcasting station.
