Bumiputera targets IDR300 billion

JAKARTA: Sharia unit of Asuransi Jiwa Bersama (AJB) Bumiputera 1912 targets this years premium revenue to IDR300 billion by expanding the product marketing.President Director of Bumiputera Dirman Pardosi confirmed that the premium revenue of sharia life insurance until November 2010 soared 17.45% to IDR175 billion from IDR149 billion in the same period of last year.According to him, the target of 2011s premium revenue will be contributed by expansion of sharia product marketing to all the lender-owned conventional offices with development of information and technology system.So far, the marketing of sharia product will be only available in its sharia marketing offices. However, the sharia product will be sold through every Bumiputeras marketing offices, he said last week. (04/t01/wiw)
