Intel Corp's full year revenue reaches US$43.6 billion

JAKARTA: Intel Corporation reported a full year revenue reach US$43.6 billion. The value is 24% or US$8.5 billion bigger than the number in 2009.The INTC-coded share also experienced a higher gross margin for about 66% or up 10% than last year. Operating income jumped 179% or US$10.2 billion to US$15.9 billion.As cited on its official website, Paul Otellini, Intel President and CEO, said, 2010 was the best year in Intels history. We believe that 2011 will be even better.They also successfully gain US$11.7 billion on net income or surged 167% (US$7.3 billion). Their earning per share (EPS) rocked 166% or US$1,28.166 to US$2.05.Intel also detailed their business outlook for the first quarter in 2011. For the first quarter, Intel estimated revenue of US$11.5 billion, gross margin percentage of 64%. R&D plus MG&A spending approximately at US$3.4 billion, US$200 million for Impact of equity investments and interest and other. For depreciation, it projected a US$1.2 billion. (T05/NOM)
