Jasa Raharja enlarges stakes in Asuransi Jasaraharja

JAKARTA: PT Jasa Raharja (Persero) enlarged its ownership in PT Asuransi Jasaraharja Putera to 93.8%, or equal to IDR93.8 billion, from 80%.President Director Jasaraharja Putera Zayad Ghani said that Jasa Raharjas share increase has been approved in the extraordinary meeting of shareholders of PT Jasaraharja Putera on January 14.According to him, Jasa Raharja bought pension fund, which accounted for 13.8% of Jasaraharja Putera shares, or IDR13.8 billion.As the action completed, Jasa Raharja now owns IDR93.8 billion of the total paid-in capital in Jasaraharja Putera, as much as IDR100 billion.The company through September 30, 2010 booked IDR321.5 billion in equity, increasing by 19.6% from IDR268.8 billion in the same period of 2009.As much as 93.8% Jasaraharja Putera shares belong to Jasa Raharja. The change has been approved in the meeting of shareholders, he told Bisnis today. (t04/wiw)
