JCI extends fall, led by Unilever

JAKARTA: Opening the first season today, Jakarta Composite index extended yesterday's declines it lost 0.65% to 3,351.62. JCI fell 22.01 points from yesterdays closing at 3,373.64 and moved within the range of 3,346.79-3,376.30.Among 421 shares in the index, 7 shares rose, 15 fell and the remaining 399 were stagnant.PT Unilever Indonesia led this morning reduction with -3.18 points, followed by PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia with -1.20 points, PT Adaro Energy with -0.95 point and PT Bumi Resources with -0.61 point.Shares that hold further downfall by contributing positive appreciation were PT Bank Central Asia with 2.91 points, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia with 0.72 point, PT Tambang Batubara with 0.27 point and PT Indofood Sukses with 0.26 point.All nine sectoral indexes in IDX gave negative contribution motored by infrastructure, utility and transportation with -27.34%, mining with -16.69%, consumer goods with -15.73% and finance with -15.48%.BISNIS-27 was also trimmed -1.12% to 288.49 from yesterdays closing at 291.75.
