Jahja Setiaatmadja appointed as BCA President Director

JAKARTA: The annual extraordinary meeting of shareholders of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk appointed Jahja Setiaatmadja as the president director, replacing D.E Setijoso. There has been a change over BCAs organizational structure. Setijoso is assigned as the President Commissioner while I am appointed to replace him as the President Director. We are still waiting for the approval from Bank Indonesia, he said through a short message this morning.Eugene Keith Galbraith, once served as President Commissioner, replaced Jahja as BCAs vice president director.Jahja graduated from University of Indonesia, majoring in Economy in 1975. He worked for a public accountant office, Price WaterhouseCoopers from 1980-1988. His last position was a finance director.He once also served as the finance director for Indomobil Group in 1988-1999. Jahja began his career at BCA in October 1990. (T02/wiw)
