Indonesian shares down 0.20%, led by Telkom

JAKARTA: Indonesian shares declined 0.20% or 8.10 points to 3,995.59 at the closing session, led by decline in infrastructure and basic industry shares. Meanwhile, regional markets moved in red zone as US unemployment rate unexpectedly increased.JCI was moving at the range of 3,971.32-4,002.76. About two shares fell for every share that was up.Some blue chip shares were dragging JCI down, including PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk which contributed minus 3.53 points, PT Gudang Garam Tbk with minus 3.04 points, PT Adaro Energy Tbk minus 0.93 point and PT Semen Gresik Tbk minus 0.69 point.PT Bank Mandiri Tbk was one of several stocks that sustained the index drop with positive 2.70 points. Others included shares of PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk 1.60 points, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk 1.43 points and PT Harum Energy Tbk 1.42 points.Meanwhile, BISNIS-27 Index dropped 0.06% or 0.23 point to 349.24. The index launched by business daily newspaper dubbed Bisnis Indonesia moved within range of 346.58-349.82.Meanwhile, Euro Stoxx 50 PR fell 1.30% to 2,753.85 and FTSE 100 Index declined 0.30% to 5,972.20.From regional market, Nikkei 225 declined 0.67% to 10,069.53, Hang Seng in Hong Kong market decreased 1.67% to 22,347.23, Shanghai SE gained 0.18% to 2,802.69, South Korean's Kospi fell 1.06% to 2,157.16 and Straits Times in Singapore slipped 0.93% to 3,121.82.The MSCI Asia Pacific Index fell 1.71% to 881.88.The rupiah was traded down 0.18% against the US dollar to IDR8,529.
