Jakarta stocks slips 26.81 points at midday break

JAKARTA: Indonesian shares declined 0.65% or 26.81 points to 4,080.01 at the midday trading break tailing Asian markets.Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was moving at the range of 4,074.01-4,104.46. About two shares fell for every one share up, whilst more than a half of the shares traded were unchanged. Finance and mining sector decreased the most.The declining of the index mostly contributed by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk which had minus 2.85 points, followed by PT Gudang Garam Tbk with minus 2.36 points, PT Astra International Tbk minus 2.13 points and PT Bank Danamon Tbk minus 1.95 points.PT Bank Mandiri Tbk was one of several stocks that supported the index with 1.35 points gain. Other positive movements are made by shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk 1.08 points, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk 1.05 points and PT AKR Corporindo Tbk 1 point.BISNIS-27 Index, the index of 27 stocks launched by business daily newspaper dubbed Bisnis Indonesia, decreased 0.84% or 2.98 points to 352.90. The index moved within range of 352.34-355.52.From regional market, Nikkei 225 declined 0.73% to 10,057.62, Hang Seng in Hong Kong market dropped 0.79% to 22,268.28, Shanghai SE fell 2.10% to 2,712.60, South Korean's Kospi dropped 1.02% to 2,149.09 and Straits Times in Singapore slipped 0.93% to 3,153.46.The MSCI Asia Pacific Index declined 0.81% to 876.89.The rupiah traded was traded down 0.06% against the US dollar at IDR8,529.
