Ketiga gol tuan rumah Everton dikontribusi Phil Jagielka (49’), bunuh diri bek Burnley Benjamin Mee (71’), serta striker Romelu Lukaku (74’).
Tambahan sebiji gol itu mengukuhkan Lukaku sebagai top skor sementara Liga Primer Inggris dengan 24 gol atau empat lebih banyak ketimbang ujung tombak Tottenham Hotspur Harry Kane yang juga mencetak satu gol ketika timnya menang 4-0 atas AFC Bournemouth.
